Beloved SOSA team member Randall O’Leary, founder and director of Swara Yoga Academy—our sister school—offers slightly different content than we do and a lighthearted, intimate atmosphere on his trainings, while sharing SOSA’s high standards of personal and professional integrity.

The Swara Yoga Academy is dedicated to supporting and inspiring you through our Teacher Training Programs held around the world, in Thailand, Bali, Europe and Peru.

Basing our teachings on traditional Yogic and Tantric systems, we take the additional step of synthesizing them for modern life.

We share these teachings dynamically and intelligently, with openness and humour, encouraging each person to flower in their own way.

Simone MacKay, Director of the School of Sacred Arts, is a guest teacher on many of Swara Yoga Academy’s trainings and events!

Swara Yoga Academy is a Yoga Alliance accredited, fully certified school. Students who complete a course successfully can apply for yoga teacher certification with Yoga Alliance.

Simone MacKay is the Yoga Nidra facilitator as part of this Swara Yoga Yin Yoga Teacher Training, designed to immerse students in meditative practices and philosophy which relates to the process of the mind and senses, our way of relating to life, our deeper sense of Self, and to pure free awareness.

Yin Yoga draws together elements of Hatha Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western musculoskeletal science and meditation. Learn the specific therapeutic benefits of each asana & how to safely and effectively practice Yin Yoga. Understand how to use this powerful practice to release the fascial trains of the body and find energetic freedom and deep states of presence.

This course will give you a step-by-step approach to Yoga Nidra based on the nature of our consciousness and neurobiology, Yoga Nidra brings a new layer of understanding to our yoga practice, on and off the mat. Especially helpful for those who are challenged by traditional forms of formal meditation, this guided, shamanic technique brings you deep into the essence of who and what you truly are.

Via the art of self-inquiry, erase samskaras—limited belief systems and patterns—and learn to plant the seeds of your purest, most powerful intentions or sankalpas at the moments you are most receptive. Mentor yourself back to a state of equilibrium. Find your internal compass and let it guide you to your full potential.
